I know this is a bike trip, but part of the enjoyment of these trips is sampling the local cuisine, looking at the local wildlife, sampling local life, albeit in a limited capacity.Β So today is a boat trip and well worth it.Β It's only a small boat which goes from Ullapool harbour.Β Β If you are reading this blog and planning on doing this trip, take a day out and go out on the boat, I promise you, you won't be disappointed

I've been to Scotland a number of times, usually to see friends and on a number of occasions to the Speyside Whisky Festival, if you haven't ever been to a Whisky Festival and want to try one, this is definitely the one to do.Β It's the most eclectic of events, but equally good fun!!Β Β

For most UK based cyclists (and many others around the world) the chance to cycle the around the North Coast of Scotland is an opportunity not to be missed.......and I am no exception π.
