For most UK based cyclists (and many others around the world) the chance to cycle the around the North Coast of Scotland is an opportunity not to be missed.......and I am no exception 😁.
So peek Midge season, August 2022 off I went to Inverness with to cycle the NC 500. Lots of people do it in Camper vans, take their caravans, tents etc. My choice was Peak Tours, they move all the luggage, sort out the accommodation, breakfast & lunches. So all you have to do is rock up and cycle - simples!
Having never done anything like this previously I was excited beyond belief. I know I'm at an age where people are calm, considered, knowledgeable and wise - yea well stuff that for a game of soldiers - I was excited.

- Airplane tickets ✅
- Suitcase ✅
- Bike stuff (garmin sat nav, lights etc.) ✅
- Helmet ✅
- Midge deterrent & full head net ✅
So I'm off 🚵♀️.......................
