I’ve often thought about walking about Hadrian’s wall, never considered cycling it.  I’m fortunate enough to be cycling with 3 good friends, Lucy, Tracy & Rodney. We are doing it over 3 days, so starting on Friday in Silloth and finishing Sunday early afternoon in Tynemouth. So here’s hoping we get dry weather and a favourable wind 🀞

12 months ago we did the Way of the Roses and met Richard, who did the whole thing on his mountain bike 😳 with fully coordinated accessories.  We have stayed in touch & cycled with him a few times.  He is amazing, nothing seems to faze him.

We will be covering 122 miles (196 km) 4,572 ft (1,394 metres) of ascent, we are using our road bikes, the route shows we will be going through some beautiful area’s, seeing some lovely sights and hopefully making some happy memories πŸ₯°
