79.07 miles and 2,638 feet of ascent
A perfect end to a perfect week. Glorious blue skies. We had a cracking breakfast, "a good Scottish sending off", as the server put it, I'm wasn't sure I would be able to get out of my seat!!
We headed back to Inverness and a celebratory supper. the cycling has been wonderful, I have run out of adjectives to describe this trip.
Catching the ferry over the Cromity Firth, feeling the water between my toes on the beach, the food, the views, the wildlife it is all superb and I'm sorry to go home and leave.
We have been made to feel very very welcome and despite the midges (horrible things that hunt it swarms) I would come back tomorrow if I could.
