69.59 miles and 5,338 feet of Ascent
Today was memorable for lots of reasons, one of which was going down a rather large hill for maybe 4 or 5 miles, towards Durness, its was a fairly straight, sometimes single lane, with passing points, the weather was good, nothing coming towards me,,
I positioned myself in the middle of the road and began to Sing!! "Don't stop me now" by Queen, as loud as I could, believe me singing is not my forte 🙉as I pedalled like a person demented down the middle of the road, Oh my days it felt good, I sang and grinned all the way to the bottom of the hill.
With a road like this, Pick an easy gear on your bike, choose a song and go for it!! 😁😎🎶🎤
There is a very nice Chocolate Shop in Durness, that does the most amazing Hot Chocolate. Even on a warm day, its delight to the senses. 😋
