I know this is a bike trip, but part of the enjoyment of these trips is sampling the local cuisine, looking at the local wildlife, sampling local life, albeit in a limited capacity. So today is a boat trip and well worth it. It's only a small boat which goes from Ullapool harbour. If you are reading this blog and planning on doing this trip, take a day out and go out on the boat, I promise you, you won't be disappointed
Lots of Dolphin's swam alongside the boat 😁 We saw Gillimots, Porpoise and lots of baby seals, you can just see them in this photo, the boat was not allowed to get to close to them, they are beautiful but very nervous
The Scots are quite rightly very proud of their country and very protective of the environment.
Whilst in Ullapool if you have time and are hungry, go to the Seafood Shack!! Have the fish wrap (I had cod) one of the tastiest and freshest fish I have ever eaten.
