Bolzano was beautiful & the square in the centre is stunning. It's a much larger city than I expected. Sat having a glass of wine looking at the the view (see picture) what's not to like โค๏ธ
The Pizza I chose was of course the waiter's favourite. Tbh it is was pretty good and the gelato superb ๐๐
This morning dawned with a lovely blue sky & light winds, a favourite sort of day. We are off to Torbole a mere 70 miles (112 km) and 3300 feet (1000 m) of ascent, 8 climbs in Garmins' world, 7 of them "easy" ๐ด๐๐

So a great day today & I understand Etna has erupted, just as we arrived in Italy ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฑ
Today started on the bike paths around Bolzano & then unsurprisingly a hill, always gets the heart rate up & the muscles functioning. The rest of the day we spent mainly on fabulous bike paths, that meandered through the Vineyards, fruit orchards & olive groves, simply stunning. We smelt, Jasmine & Honeysuckle as we cycled along.
The bike paths are used by everyone, the route is generally well signposted & I cannot compliment the Italians enough on what would seem to be have been a huge investment. If you are planning a trip to this part of Italy, check it out. The bike path is behind me in this picture.

Torbole is on the Northern shores of Lake Garda, unsurprisingly it has a beach, which is made up of small white stones. Once upon a time Torbole was a small fishing village, it is now reportedly one of the liveliest and most popular towns on Lake Garda. It is very popular with sports enthusiasts Along with the local sailors, there are windsurfer's and wing-foilers, I have to say, I have no idea what that is๐คท๐ปโ๏ธ , if anyone wants to enlighten me with a comment, please feel free ๐. Organic Olive oil tasting is apparently a thing here, so I wouldn't mind doing that๐.

Please leave a comment or ask a question, I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Your email address won't be published ๐ if you prefer not to leave a comment, a star rating would be great, or do both ๐ด๐
